I had a full renovation done a few years ago, but the place had been cluttered, with personal items that no longer served me and with furniture that came from my prior apartment. For a long time, I wanted to work on my apartment and complete the job of turning it into a beautiful, and fully functioning, home. 

Then, Eva Maria came. 

She corrected a few of the mistakes of the first professional I hired. She undertook a major decluttering. She outlined an elaborate yet doable plan with clear priorities. With every design and furniture decision, she offered several alternatives.  She listened carefully to my wishes and could envision my needs. And she always had good, practical advice (like: try a new arrangement for two weeks before making up your mind). 

Her enthusiasm for the project was contagious. She was hands-on, which was great because I am easily overwhelmed and have a hard time following through with even the best suggestions.  She helped me with the emotional and tedious task of taking inventory and sorting out my belongings. Much to my surprise, under her guidance a much dreaded project became empowering and even enjoyable. 

Eva Maria had been mindful of the process. At each appointment, she left me with a sense of having accomplished an important milestone. She created a simple and effective system of organization that I have been able to keep up, more than a year later. 

I am grateful to her because my apartment has stayed uncluttered since. My place now is more beautiful and comfortable. Thank you!
